As we prepare for another season of king salmon fishing on Alaska’s Nushagak River, this article just came out. Outdoor writer, Scott Haugen has fished with us many times over the past 15 years, and there’s a reason he keeps coming back.
What we appreciate about this latest magazine article–in the May issue of Alaska Sporting Journal–is how it captures all that’s happening on the Nushagak River. This article not only looks at the variety of ways we fish for king salmon at Alaska King Salmon Adventures camp, but also the variety of fish species that can be caught on this big Alaskan river. From king salmon to rainbow trout, coho to grayling, sockeye salmon to Dolly Varden, pike and more, there’s no shortage of fish to pursue and ways to fish for them.
Enjoy, and we hope to see you on the river!
